Available choices
- Edit or remove ratings, watchlist entries, series progress, and the services you subscribe to.
- Turn analytics off at You > Help improve recommendations. Anything queued on your device is discarded at the same time.
- Change ad consent and tracking choices at You > Privacy & ad settings, and in iOS at Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Add or remove an optional phone number used for friend discovery, and control who follows you.
- Mark individual ratings private so they are never visible to followers.
- Delete your account and everything attached to it.
Delete your account
You > Account > Delete account. This erases your account, ratings, watchlist, progress, follows, analytics events, and usage counters from our servers, and wipes the copy on your device. It is immediate and cannot be undone.
If you cannot get into the app, email admin@nerdyexecutive.com with the subject "ReelDeal account deletion" from the email address tied to your account. Deletion requests made by email may require identity verification.
Encrypted provider backups may retain data until their normal backup rotation expires. We may also retain limited records where needed for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
Using the app without an account
If you never sign in, there is nothing on our servers to delete. Your ratings and watchlist live only on your device and are removed when you delete the app. The exceptions are described in the Privacy Policy: Ask sends your question and a shortlist to OpenAI, and ads are served by Google AdMob.
Request data export or correction
Email admin@nerdyexecutive.com with the subject "ReelDeal data request" and describe what you need. We respond within 30 days, using the contact information associated with your account.
