Agreement
These Terms of Use are between you and Nerdy Executive Labs Inc., the owner and operator of ReelDeal. By using ReelDeal, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
ReelDeal may also be subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement for apps distributed through the App Store, except where these terms provide additional app-specific rules.
1. The service
ReelDeal recommends films and television based on what you tell it you enjoyed. It also shows critic and community scores, streaming availability, and answers to questions you ask in plain language.
2. Your account
An account is optional. You must be at least 13, or 16 in the EEA and UK, to create one. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account unless it results from our failure to use reasonable security practices.
You can delete your account at any time from You > Account > Delete account.
3. Acceptable use
Do not break the law with the app, try to access other people's accounts or data, scrape or bulk-extract the catalog or the user directory, reverse engineer or attack the service, automate access, or use it to harass anyone. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
4. Recommendations are opinions
Recommendations, taste profiles, match scores, and Ask answers are generated automatically and are suggestions, nothing more. We do not guarantee you will enjoy anything, and we are not responsible for time spent on a film you did not like.
5. Availability information
Where-to-watch data comes from third parties, including TMDB and JustWatch, and changes constantly and by region. It may be wrong or out of date. Always check with the streaming service itself before subscribing to anything on the strength of what this app told you. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any streaming service.
6. Third-party content and marks
Film and television metadata, artwork, and scores come from TMDB, JustWatch, and OMDb, including Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic data. All trademarks and artwork belong to their owners. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Third-party websites, stores, APIs, and services are governed by their own terms and policies. ReelDeal is not responsible for third-party content, availability, prices, ratings, or purchases.
7. Advertising
The app is free and supported by advertising. Ads are supplied by third parties; we do not endorse advertised products and are not party to your dealings with advertisers. Interfering with ad delivery is a breach of section 3.
There is no subscription and no in-app purchase. See the Pricing page for how this works in practice.
8. Friends, parties, and shared content
If you use handles, following, or watch parties, other users will see the information described in the Privacy Policy. Do not share anything you are not comfortable with them seeing. Follower-visible ratings are limited to titles you rated 3 out of 5 or above and did not mark private.
Be respectful. Do not harass, threaten, spam, or abuse other users. We may remove content, limit access, or suspend accounts that misuse shared features or create legal, safety, or security risk.
9. Changes and termination
We may change or discontinue features, models, data sources, or availability, and may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. You may stop using the app at any time. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
ReelDeal is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the extent allowed by law, ReelDeal and Nerdy Executive Labs Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects the statutory rights of consumers.
